We're hiring! Creative Developer (front-end)

We’re looking for a dynamic, outgoing and adaptable Creative Developer to join our team of coders with character here in Bristol.

Although we need someone with solid technical development skills, the role also requires a keen eye for good UX/design - so having experience in both would be a huge bonus. Maybe you’re a developer that’s worked on projects that involve UX or a designer that’s learnt to code.

Noughts & Ones is a creative development agency that specialises in custom web design and development on established CMS platforms such as Squarespace and Shopify. We bring our creative development skills to web projects that push the limits of what’s possible on the platforms we work with.

You will be joining our current development team and working on a variety of Squarespace and Shopify projects (big and small!). We’re a small and close team at the moment - so we’re looking for someone that really wants to get stuck in, is open to flexibility within their role and wants to become a key part of the Noughts & Ones team as we grow.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Leading website design & development projects with our brand & agency partners

  • Customising templates/themes using CSS, JavaScript & HTML

  • Creating UX/design mockups

  • Handling ad-hoc internal & external development support requests

  • Shopify theme development using Liquid

  • Up-skilling on new platforms and development stacks

It would be awesome if you have previous experience of using CMS platforms (particularly Squarespace & Shopify) but don’t worry if not - you will be given resources, time and support to get you up to speed extremely quickly.

Remuneration & benefits include:

  • Salary negotiable based on experience

  • Flexible working hours

  • 28 days annual leave

  • Pension scheme

  • Private health insurance

  • Discounted PureGym membership

  • Professional development time

Interested? Please get in touch with your CV and a bit about yourself. If you’d like to apply but not sure you meet the criteria, we’d still love to hear from you - we’d be happy to discuss your application.

No recruitment agencies, please.
